					Step 1
			Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

			In a large bowl, combine the hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup melted butter, chopped onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

			Spread the hash brown mixture evenly in a 9x13-inch baking dish.

			In a small bowl, combine the crushed cornflakes with the remaining 1/4 cup melted butter. Mix well.
