					Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
					Step 2
Hull and puree the fresh strawberries using a food processor. Set aside.
					Step 3
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
					Step 4
In a large bowl, beat the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
					Step 5
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
					Step 6
Fold in 200 g of the strawberry puree and the strawberry jam into the batter until evenly distributed.
					Step 7
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Smooth the tops with a spatula.
					Step 8
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
