					Step 1
			In a large pot, combine the purple corn, water, pineapple chunks, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.

			Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

			Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 50 minutes.

			Remove from heat and strain the liquid into another container, discarding the solids.
					Step 5
			Add the sugar and lime juice to the strained liquid, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

			Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
					Step 7
			Refrigerate the Chicha Morada until chilled.

			Serve cold, optionally with ice and apple chunks as garnish.
