Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 500 g italian sausage
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 800 ml tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
Step 3
Add the Italian sausage to the pan. Cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it into smaller pieces with a spoon.
Step 4
Pour in the tomato sauce and add the dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
Step 5
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 6
Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
Step 7
Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
