  • 354 ml evaporated milk
  • 180 ml lime juice
  • 1 lime zest
  • 200 g Maria cookies
  • 397 g sweetened condensed milk

Directions

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and fresh lime juice. Mix until well combined and smooth.
Step 2
Spread a thin layer of the lime mixture at the bottom of a rectangular dish.
Step 3
Place a layer of Maria cookies over the lime mixture.
Step 4
Pour another layer of the lime mixture over the cookies, spreading it evenly.
Step 5
Repeat the layers, alternating between the cookies and the lime mixture, until the dish is filled.
Step 6
Finish with a layer of the lime mixture on top.
Step 7
Sprinkle the lime zest over the top layer.
Step 8
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
Step 9
Serve chilled.
