Turn on the Instant Pot and select the sauté function. Add the olive oil and allow it to heat up.

Add the diced onion and cook until it becomes translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until it is browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Stir in the Italian seasoning, crushed tomatoes, and chicken broth. Mix well.
