			Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.

			In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

			Add the mushrooms and garlic, and cook for another 5 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.

			Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute, then gradually whisk in the milk and chicken broth.
