					Step 1
			Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
					Step 2
			Peel and slice the apples.
					Step 3
			In a pan, melt 25 grams of butter and add the apple slices. Cook until they are soft.

			Add the sugar and cinnamon to the apples and cook for a few more minutes until the sugar is dissolved and the apples are caramelized.
					Step 5
			Cut the crusts off the bread slices and butter them with the remaining butter.

			Line the sides and bottom of a baking dish with the buttered bread slices, buttered side down.
					Step 7
			Fill the dish with the apple mixture, then cover the top with more bread slices, buttered side up.

			Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
