Ingredients

  • 340 g cranberries
  • 240 ml orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 200 g sugar
  • 120 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Rinse the cranberries and remove any stems or bad berries.
Step 2
In a medium saucepan, combine the orange juice, water, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 3
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Step 4
Add the cranberries to the saucepan and return to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.
Step 5
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the orange zest.
Step 6
Let the sauce cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until ready to serve.
