  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups ice
  • 2 resealable plastic bags
  • 0.5 cup salt
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
In the small resealable plastic bag, combine the heavy cream, half-and-half, sugar, and vanilla extract. Seal the bag tightly.
Step 2
In the large resealable plastic bag, add the ice and salt.
Step 3
Place the small bag inside the large bag, seal the large bag tightly.
Step 4
Shake the bags vigorously for about 5-10 minutes, or until the mixture in the small bag turns into ice cream.
Step 5
Carefully remove the small bag from the large bag. Rinse the small bag under cold water to remove any salt.
Step 6
Open the small bag and enjoy your homemade ice cream directly from the bag or transfer it to a bowl.
