  • 1 banana squash
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 30 g butter
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 120 ml orange juice
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

Cut the banana squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
Step 3
Place the squash halves cut-side down in a baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until tender.

In a small saucepan, combine the orange juice, lemon juice, brown sugar, and butter.

Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture comes to a boil and the sugar is dissolved.

Remove the baked squash from the oven and turn the halves over.
