Ingredients

  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 900 g pork belly
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1000 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Cut the pork belly into 1-inch cubes.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Step 3
Toss the pork belly cubes in the spice mix until they are evenly coated.
Step 4
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
Step 5
Fry the pork belly cubes in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.
Step 6
Remove the cracklins from the oil and drain them on paper towels.
Step 7
Serve warm and enjoy!
