					Step 1
			Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.

			Add the diced onion, minced garlic, chopped carrots, and chopped celery on top of the chicken.

			Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.

			Pour the chicken broth over the ingredients in the slow cooker.

			Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.

			About 30 minutes before serving, add the rice to the slow cooker and stir to combine.

			Cover and continue to cook until the rice is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid.
