Ingredients

  • 250 grams all-purpose flour
  • 15 grams baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 5 grams ground cinnamon
  • 300 ml milk
  • 3 grams salt
  • 25 grams sugar
  • 50 grams unsalted butter
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and ground cinnamon.
Step 2
In another bowl, beat the egg and then whisk in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Step 3
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Step 4
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
Step 5
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
Step 6
Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruit, or powdered sugar.
