Ingredients

  • 60 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 500 ml BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 2 kg pork shoulder
  • 2 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic on top of the pork.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, mustard powder, salt, and black pepper.
Step 4
Pour the mixture over the pork shoulder.
Step 5
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and can be shredded easily.
Step 6
Once cooked, shred the pork using two forks and mix it well with the sauce in the slow cooker.
Step 7
Serve the shredded BBQ pork on hamburger buns.
